What are people saying
about the book

Often, when people consider the Enneagram, they only think about finding out which of the nine types best fits them, but actually, the original meaning and sense of the Enneagram was much more versatile and nuanced. A skilled practitioner of the system could use it in many powerful and helpful ways, Flemming Christensen has been a serious student and teacher of the Enneagram for many years, and I have seen him grow tremendously in his capacity to embody the teachings and to be a help to his students. In “The Enneagram and why your blind type matters” , he presents a bold new way of looking at the nine points of the Enneagram in a way that brings more helpful knowledge to the surface – knowledge useful for clients as well as for one’s own self development. He has been researching this material and working with clients for years to test the usefulness of this approach, and it shows. For those seeking ways to get out of the box of thinking in simplistic terms about type, this book might just be a way to open up your horizons!

“By adding a whole new dimension to the classical Enneagram types, the so-called “blind type”, Flemming Christensen’s new book presents us to an intellectual apparatus which it is fully justified to name the strongest and richest typology for identity-location available among the frameworks for understanding personality to day.”
