You know what hit me first when I started learning the Enneagram? That I have a self. Leading from a type Nine, it hit me very strongly that I have a self to begin with. So if you are asking me if the Enneagram would help anyone? Yes. And it’s not theoretical, it was impactful. At least it was for me.

Shaimaa Refaat quotes
In the Enneagram Insights podcast interview, Shaimaa Refaat says:
Type 9: It hit me that I have a self
Shaimaa Refaat: “You know what hit me first when I started learning the Enneagram? That I have a self.
Leading from a nine, actual nine, it hit me very strongly that I have a self to begin with.
So if you are asking me if the Enneagram would help anyone, yes. And it’s not theoretical, it was impactful. It was for me.”
The Enneagram gave me a new understanding
Shaimaa Refaat: “I saw the dynamics of the Enneagram helped me a lot with my relationship with my mother.
So seeing that while leading from two different islands, I’m from the gut and she’s from the heart.
And when I knew about the Enneagram and where she’s leading her life from, so I had a lot of compassion towards her.
So I have more understanding. I was like, oh, I didn’t know that. Okay. That’s why you’re doing that. Okay. I don’t know that I did that. Okay.
I went in totally different dynamics with her after learning the Enneagram.”
The hope for the Conference
Shaimaa Refaat: “This conference is all about experiential development.
It’s all about meeting person at their own level and pace, the topics have a lot of diversity.
Presenting the topics in our social media, I see a lot of diversity. I see a lot of depth in many different classes and theories.
So through the experience of the three days, each one, I hope and I really wish each one will be touched in a way that will make another movement in her life or his life.
So it’s all about your intention when you are attending this conference.
It’s about remembrance, remembering what we are at each one’s level or perception or pace right now.
It will hit something, whatever you’re ready for it.”
